dfw retrocomputing meetup
Before VCF Southwest resumed in 2023 there were the DFW Retrocomputing Meetups. These meetups have grown to nearly 100 attendees and are completely free to attend, show off your cool gear, buy/sell/trade, and peruse the famous free pile, it's like a mini Vintage Computer Festival!
These meetups happen typically in the winter, spring, and fall. Check this page and sign up for the DFW Retrocomputing Email list below to be notified when the next one happens!

Does it cost anything?
The meetups are completely free to attend. We do however have a donation box at the entry which are appreciated to help us cover our venue and insurance costs.
What happens at the meetups?
Like minded vintage tech enthusiasts get together and socialize, bring their gear to show off and buy, sell, and trade.
Can I sell my stuff?
As long as it's vintage(ish) technology yes, you may buy/sell/trade. Tables are first come first served but there's plenty.
Is there a free pile?
Yes, just like at VCF there is a free pile. However, the same rules apply, if what you brought is still there when you leave take it back with you, no uncool printers, and no stripping parts from computers.
Is there food available?
Yes, Bingo Bingo has a snack bar cooking up a variety of items. However they are cash only.
